FARM HISTORY

We operated as an organic grain farm with a cow-calf herd.  Cattle manure was Bio-Dynamic composted and distributed back over the fields in conjunction with green manure plow downs.
A wide variety of crops have been worked with over the years.  Various wheats, barley, oats, fall-rye, peas, lentils, spelt, radish, buckwheat, flax, soybeans, alfalfa, and sweet clover.  In year 2000 industrial hemp seed will be produced.
Our farm operation involves a grain cleaning plant capable of cleaning to certified seed standards and over the last six years we have developed and purchased various pieces of equipment for dehulling oats, barley, buckwheat, and grind flour.
Hemp oil from the 2000 crop will also be offered.
